When you book a mobile glam session, you will be quoted a mobile/travel fee depending on your location. While your travel fee does include distance and mileage, for such a small fee, it includes so much more!
A travel fee includes, you guessed it, fuel and mileage to and from your location of choice. I’ll also be the one sitting in L.A. traffic (round-trip) so you don’t have to (it’s ok! You can do the happy dance lol.) While gas prices continue to soar, travel fees are still kept as low as possible.
When you choose to have your appointment take place outside of the beauty studio and instead book a mobile appointment, scheduling looks very different. Your appointment is extended, and an additional 30 minutes is added to allow for setting up and packing up equipment.
In addition, the hour before your appointment and the hour after your appointment is blocked off and other clients are unable to book an appointment (as they would if your appointment was in-studio) since that time is dedicated to traveling to and from your location. That’s a total of 2.5 hours (sometimes more depending on your location) that is added to mobile appointments and is unbookable to others, so the mobile/travel fee also covers this time.
If you reside in a busy residential area with only street parking available, additional time is used to search for parking as well as walking to and from your residence from the closest available parking, with all equipment in tow. The process is also the same for hotels (parking, navigating through the hotel, locating the room, etc.)
When booking a mobile appointment, my beauty studio is packed up and brought to you. A full makeup kit, hair kit, makeup chair, professional lighting, you name it, I’ll have it. While the adorable emoji above shows 2 people, Angela, will be doing all of the cardio. That means carrying heavy equipment to and from your appointment, up and down stairs, setting up a comfortable space at your location for us to glam, and then packing it up afterward.
Travel fees start as low as $80. Los Angeles is extremely large so your exact travel fee will be quoted once you’ve filled out the contact form and have provided the address of your residence/getting-ready location.
