Saint-Paul de Vence
This charming town known for its modern and contemporary art museums and galleries is one of the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera and is located only an hour from Nice by bus. There isn’t a whole lot to do which is to be expected from any small town but its beauty and charm are undoubtedly worth a day trip. Take in its quaintness by strolling along its cobblestone alleys and popping into one of its many art galleries.

I had the pleasure of meeting Michel Degav the artist and owner of this beautiful gallery when his stunning paintings caught my eye while strolling by. Michel is both creative and passionate which reflects in each of his paintings and the interaction he has with each guest who enters his gallery.
If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind piece you’re sure to find one here, I nearly fell in love with all of them. Once you find the perfect piece for your home, let Michel know and he will carefully package it into a wooden box specifically designed for the canvas which he will then ship directly to you.

I never understood the hype over Crêpes. I’ve tried them a handful of times in Los Angeles and Italy and often found them soggy. I’m not sure if my taste buds were just waiting for the ‘real deal’ in France but I finally had my “ah-ha Crêpe moment” at Glacier de la Fontaine. It was the perfect combination of soft yet toasty, golden brown, and perfectly filled with Nutella. I finally understand the Crêpe hype!
antibes, france
Situated on the French Riviera between Cannes and Nice, Antibes is a short ride by train. While often classified as a resort town, its old town is nothing short of charming. The lovely street of Rue Georges Clemenceau offers a variety of shops and boutiques surrounded by vibrant potted flowers.
Antibes also offers a small sandy area but if you’re looking for a long stretch of powdery sand beaches, head over to Juan-les-Pins.
If you happen to spot Chao Benji be sure to grab yourself a cup. Fresh fruit which instantly freezes upon hitting the cold freezer plate is chopped with metal spatulas until creamy. Vegan and all-natural, it’s a yummy treat on a hot summer day.
