Crop Tank Tops

These were a great find at under $6/each. They come in a pack of 4 neutral colors that are simple to style with high-waisted jeans or skirts and aren’t “too cropped” hitting perfectly below the belly button. Sizing: They run small which I knew thanks to the reviews, so I ordered a size up. I typically wear an xs or small so I ordered medium but because I prefer a bit of wiggle room, I felt they were a little snug and exchanged them for large which was a better fit.

Vitamix Blender

I’ve made smoothies for years which means I’ve always had a blender. I first owned the Magic Bullet which was later upgraded to a Nutribullet and then a Nutribullet Pro. I’m not the type to go out and buy the “next best thing” “just because” so as my blender use went from weekly, to daily, and then several times a day, I began experiencing mechanical issues.

There was motor failure and then a broken blade, yep! a metal blade floating in my smoothie. The warranty department was great at providing upgraded replacements however the thought of possibly swallowing a sharp metal shard, turned me off to the brand completely.

I had seen food bloggers use Vitamix to make acai bowls and nicecream, a vegan “ice cream” made only with frozen bananas, both of which I make several times a week. Purchasing a Vitamix seemed like a smart idea but I couldn’t get over the price tag so I weighed the pros and cons. The pros were a higher-powered motor of 2hp (horsepower) versus the 900w of the Nutribullet pro and a 5-year warranty versus 1 year. Then I looked at the only con, the price.

I finally bit the bullet and purchased the Vitamix and it is by far one of the best purchases I’ve made in the past year, heck two or three years! Vitamix is seriously powerful and obliterates frozen foods, it even heats liquids to make homemade soups. I honestly can’t recommend it enough, there’s so much it can do. If a Vitamix isn’t already a staple in your kitchen, add it to your shopping cart and thank me later.

Pop Socket

This small phone accessory has prevented me on numerous occasions from dropping my phone on my face while laying in bed scrolling through Instagram late at night. Please tell me I’m not the only one who has had a phone to face mishap?! Honestly, having a pop socket on my phone just feels safer at any time. Click here for the iridescent/opal crystal pop socket (I love mine!) or here for all available styles.

Mulberry Silk Pillowcase

For the past few years, I’ve experienced excess hair shedding especially while sleeping so I began looking for products that would eliminate the amount of hair loss I experienced. I figured the main problem was my cotton pillowcases that cause tugging and breakage so I looked into silk pillowcases which also happen to be great for your skin.

I initially purchased a set that looked great but caused extreme static in my hair which made me realize that not all silk pillowcases are created equal. After that, I found another set on amazon, this time Mulberry silk, which has all the same benefits as regular silk but also happens to be the highest quality silk available for purchase.

The unique thing about Mulberry silk is how its produced. It has a history in China, where local farmers grow Mulberry trees and harvest the leaves for silkworms to feed on, the resulting cocoons are spun into raw silk fibers which are used for the pillowcases.

I’ve been using the Mulberry pillowcases for a few months and have experienced little to no hair loss, which is incredible. I bought mine in white but if you prefer your bedding to have a bit more color, there are other options available to match any aesthetic.

  •  Silk contains 18 amino acids that nourish your skin while you sleep, so your face is better hydrated and smooth.
  • Ultra-soft, Mulberry pillowcases reduce friction by 43% on average.
  • Ordinary pillowcases can cause hair tangling during the night. The natural smoothness of silk prevents static electricity and reduces friction, preventing dry/knotted hair and reduced hair loss.
  •  Pure mulberry silk is a natural temperature regulator which is skin-friendly and helps you to feel cool in summer and warm in winter. Silk is said to retain a comfortable temperature and aid in falling asleep more relaxed.

Whipped Greens Facewash

I rarely share a product saying that I’m obsessed but alas I’ve found a cleanser that I’m truly in love with. For the past year, I had been experiencing pretty aggressive cystic acne so when I started using Whipped Greens and my skin began clearing within a few days and has stayed almost entirely clear for 2 months, I was floored! It’s packed with clean ingredients like Moringa Seed Extract and Papaya Enzyme and is gentle yet effective which is why it has earned its place as a staple in my skincare routine.

USB Charging Station & Faux Accent Rug

I keep this charging station on my night-stand and love that it takes up minimal space and allows me to charge 4 USB devices at once so I’m ready to connect to the world in the morning. Because it’s so lightweight, the cord tends to pull it backward, to keep it secured to the table I added a bit of double-sided tape which does the trick!

This faux sheepskin rug is perfect as an accent rug alongside the bed, I love that it’s the first thing my feet hit in the morning. It’s extremely soft, great quality, and is one of the most affordable faux accent rugs I’ve come across but looks just as expensive as the others.

Tennis Shoes & Jammies

These white tennis shoes have been my go-to since purchasing them. They are low profile reminiscent of Keds, and pair well with jeans, skirts, and dresses, so you know they’re coming with me on my next trip to Europe. They’re 100% leather and have an Ortholite memory foam cushion making them comfortable for extended wear. The thing that has always worried me about white shoes is that they’ll look disastrous in a few months but since these are leather they wipe down with a wet rag easily and look just as new as the day I purchased them and that was 8 months ago.

I was on the hunt for pajama shorts that weren’t booty shorts that I could bring with me on trips and wear around others without looking inappropriate. I ended up finding this really cute ruffled pair on Amazon that are soft, comfortable, and hit mid-thigh and I’m 5’7. I loved them so much that I ordered another set and now have them in pink, blue, grey, and black. Oh, and after 6 months of washing, they’re still soft and in perfect condition.
